* The Ned Prix de Fashion marquee (behind the Ellerslie Stand)

** Entry into Cuvée after the last race is free to racegoers aged 18yr+; a dress code applies & intoxicated persons will not be permitted or tolerated

Following the tradition of Derby Day events across the globe, black & white takes centre-stage and racegoers are encouraged to dress to this style theme (but it's not a requirement, including for the day's fashion competitions).

A dress code does apply in many areas including the Ascot Stand & hospitality precincts.

If you're bringing the younger family members to Vodafone Derby Day, we've got their day sorted.

Plus! Children under 15 years get free general admission and we currently have an earlybird special on adults' general admission tickets too.

Gather the squad & pop the bubbles!

If you’re looking for people-watching prospects & an excuse to let your hair down on Vodafone Derby Day, the Garden Party is the precinct for you.

Tickets $70 per person but hurry! This spot has been extended three times & is about to SELL OUT.

Enter our “Pick the Winner” competition on the day and you could be winging your way there!

Simply pick which horse you think will win the Vodafone New Zealand Derby®, pop your entry in the corresponding box before entries close AND, if your pick wins the race, you’ll go in the draw to win 100,000 Hawaiian Airlines air miles PLUS three nights’ accommodation at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. **

The national fashions in the field final, The Ned Prix de Fashion*, returns to Vodafone Derby Day

with a $20,000+ winner-takes-all prize package and the title of being the country's best-dressed racegoer awarded to the winner.

BUT to make it into the big event, you must first qualify.

If you haven't won a regional qualifying event, you've still got one in four chances to qualify on the day by entering into the Hawaiian Airlines Qualifier Round. Entry into this competition is open to female racegoers aged 18yr+ and is free*.  The four women deemed best dressed by judges will each win 100,000 Hawaiian Airlines air miles AND qualify for the regional final of The Ned Prix de Fashion which takes place later in the day.

Men aren't forgotten either with the Hawaiian Airlines Menswear Award* also taking place on the day which will see the best dressed male take home 100,000 Hawaiian Airlines air miles and three nights at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort.

* Entry terms & conditions apply
