Vodafone Derby Day
Saturday 5 March 2022
The kick-off to Auckland Cup Week 2022, get set to frock-up, rock-up and indulge on 5 March.
The thrill threshold is set with the running of the $1,000,000 Vodafone New Zealand Derby and off-track, lap-up all the glitz, glamour and fashion you could ask for with The Ned Prix de Fashion, the national racewear final.
If that's not enough, the day's vibrant social scene coupled with vino, champs, frothy brews, food and even free entertainment for the little ones will be sure to keep anyone entertained all day long.
Then, once the horses have been sent to bed, the party kicks-on in Cuvée* where live music helps you kick up those hooves and celebrate the day that was.
Whether you want to party it up, network up a storm in a corporate marquee or private space, live it up in a shared dining precinct such as Cuvée or Silks, or park up in general admission areas & soak up the racing and free family entertainment, there's something available for you.
11.00am - Gates & Ascot Stand open
11.30am - Hospitality precincts open
12.15pm - First race (of 10)
5.40pm - Last race
* All timings are approximate & subject to change.
