Our general admission areas provide a relaxed, laidback way for eventgoers to enjoy their day and offer excellent viewing opportunities of the racetrack and associated areas.

From the stables to the Parade Ring, the Birdcage and the track... you’ll have endless opportunities to get up close to the gorgeous horses in our general admission areas.

When it comes time to race, you have the option of either enjoying exceptional views from the covered, outdoor seating in the Ellerslie Stand or get as close as possible to the thunder of the track from the open space of public lawns which neighbour the home straight.

The Newmarket Room, located on the ground floor of the Ellerslie Stand, is open to the public and offers a range of tasty food & beverages to purchase.

You’re welcome to bring along your own picnic food, unopened non-alcoholic beverages, as well as chairs & picnic rugs for use in our outdoor general admission areas.

A general admission ticket provides you with the option of walking around the public pathways within the stabling complex.

Please note:

- Gates open at 10:30am
