Located in a precinct right within the centre of the racetrack, our family-friendly zone returns for the Skycity Boxing Day Races 2021.

This is the area if you're seeking a laid back way to spend your SkyCity Boxing Day Races and need some 'additional entertainment' to keep the little ones happy.

This area has a range of FREE children's entertainment - including pony rides, a bouncy castle, swingball sets, organised games & activities PLUS a mobile barnyard to keep the younger ones entertained between races.

Bring your own picnic lunch or use our giant BBQ to cook up your Christmas Day leftovers. Otherwise, let some of the food vendors do the hard work for you and purchase food off them.

You’re also welcome to bring along your own unopened non-alcoholic beverages, as well as chairs, umbrellas, picnic rugs (etc) to this precinct (just note that you will need to carry your items in from the car park).

Bars will be operating within this area from which you can purchase non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages from (a suitable form of photographic ID will be required for any alcoholic beverage purchases).
