If you want to add a little something special to your SkyCity Boxing Day experience, consider upgrading your GA ticket to Premium GA.

Ticket price:

  • Earlybird: $350 for up 10 people (incl gst) - SOLD OUT

  • $400 for up to 10 people (incl GST)

Our general admission areas provide a relaxed, laidback way for eventgoers to enjoy their day and offer excellent viewing opportunities of the racetrack and associated areas AND this option gives you the bonus of your own reserved table for up to 10 guests in the comfort of an air conditioned room in the Ellerslie Stand.

From the moment the horses leave the stables, you’ll have endless opportunities to get up close to these amazing animals in our general admission areas.

With our Premium GA option, you can also enjoy the races from your own reserved, indoor table in a room boasting great views of the track whilst still having the flexibility to head downstairs and hear the thunder of the track from the open space of public lawns which neighbour the home straight.

 

With easy access to everything you need while oncourse for Boxing Day, it's a fantastic option for families and friends alike who want to do the races their way!

Package includes:

  • Reserved table for up to 10 guests on Level 3 of the Ellerslie Stand

  • Comfort of an air conditioned room with uninterrupted views of the racecourse and access to the covered grandstand

  • Easy access to food, cash bars, betting and bathroom facilities

  • Racecourse general admission for 10 people, giving them access into the Premium General Admission Room, all general admission areas, Infield Family Entertainment Zone and the ability to watch Hawaiian Airlines Fashions in the Field

Other information 

  • Tickets are purchased in tables of 10. If you have less than 10 people, the full cost still applies

  • Gates open at 10.30am, this hospitality option opens at 11.30am*

  • While there is no dress code in this area, if you plan on going to other areas on course you might need to check if one applies there.  Entry may be refused if the dress code is not adhered to

  • Tickets are non-refundable

  • Ellerslie encourages responsible drinking

  • Intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse

  • We strongly encourage guests leave cars at home. Don’t drink and drive; use our preferred taxi supplier Auckland Co-op to get you to and from the event. They will drop you off at the main entrance and you can catch one from the same place for the journey home. Ring 09 300 3000 to book

  • Whilst cash and eftpos are available, we recommend guests bring cash
