Ticket price:

  • $590 (incl gst) for 10 tickets.

  • Each marquee caters to 10 people.

Your group will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this shared precinct where they can choose to base themselves from your reserved site, or mix with other likeminded parties within the private enclosure.


Your site includes 10 guest passes, your own mini shade marquee complete with table & ten chairs, plus access to a cash bar & betting facilities reserved for the exclusive use of the Marquee Village guests.


You’ll be left with nothing to do but relax & take comfort in the fact you’ve got everything covered for Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup Day.

Package caters for ten people and includes:
  • Your own reserved 3 x 3m mini shade marquee set up for you on the Barrett Lawn, complete with table & 10 chairs

  • Racecourse and Marquee Village on Barrett admission, race book & pen for you and nine guests

  • Easy access to, and exclusive use of a cash bar​

Other information ​​

  • While there is no dress code in this area, if you plan on going to other areas on course you might need to check if one applies there as entry can be refused if it is not adhered to. You can view our dress code here.

  • Marquees can only be purchased in increments of 10 people. If you have less than 10 people the full marquee cost still applies.

  • Access to the Marquee Village will be restricted to Marquee Village guests only, who will be given a wristband on arrival. A maximum of 10 wristbands will be allocated per mini marquee. Additional wristbands will be provided for children under 5 years who are free. Please reference in the booking note the number of children under 5 years who are attending.

Event information

  • Tickets are non-refundable

  • All bars close shortly after the last race, except Cuvée & the Winning Post Bar. All guests on course are welcome to join the official on-site after party in Cuvée (R18, dress code applies, intoxicated persons will not be permitted)

  • dress code is in place in all hospitality areas and certain other areas including the Ascot Stand. While we hate turning people away, the dress code will be enforced as required and entry will be refused if it is not adhered to. Please ensure anyone you are purchasing tickets for is aware of this. 

  • We are a fully-licensed venue and BYO alcohol is not permitted

  • We encourage responsible drinking

  • Intoxicated persons will not be granted entry into Ellerslie Racecourse

  • We strongly encourage you to taxi to the track and leave your car at home. Don’t drink and drive, use our preferred taxi supplier Auckland Co-op Taxi who will drop off / pick up at the main entrance. Ring 09 300 3000 to book

  • Ellerslie Racecourse is located close to public transport networks including the Greenlane Train Station which is a 600m walk away

  • Free car-parking is available on course on a first-in, first-served basis. 

  • Promotional photographs, social media content & film footage will be taken at this event. By entering the racecourse, event-goers consent to use of their image by the Club & New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing for promotional purposes
