The Infield Family Zone returns and with it, some fun, free activities for the younger family members.
Free children's activities will be on offer PLUS barbeque access to cook your Christmas leftovers on (or you can bring your own picnic food).
Earlybird tickets are $10 per adult (children under 15 years free) and you can bring your own picnic food, umbrellas, gazebos & deck chairs.

Make sure you're across the dress code as it is enforced in all areas on course, with the exception of the Infield Family Zone, General Admission and The Paddock (though we encourage racegoers in this precinct to dress in garden party-type attire).
BYO alcohol is not permitted anywhere on-site however guests aged 18yr+ can purchase alcoholic beverages from bars on site with maximum drink restrictions applying throughout the event
You're able to bring your own picnic food & unopened, non-alcoholic beverages into outdoor general admission (public) areas and the Infield Family Zone only. BYO food & non-alcoholic beverages are not permitted in any hospitality precinct or the Ascot Stand
Personal-use gazebos & picnic set-ups are welcomed in the Infield Family Entertainment Zone and outdoor general admission areas, however they are not permitted in any hospitality precinct or Ascot Stand
A dress code is in place in all hospitality areas and certain other areas including the Ascot Stand. While we hate turning people away, the dress code will be enforced as required and entry will be refused if it is not adhered to. Please ensure anyone you are purchasing tickets for is aware of this

We encourage responsible drinking & intoxicated persons will not be granted entry into Ellerslie Racecourse
We strongly encourage you to taxi to the track and leave your car at home. Don’t drink and drive, use our preferred taxi supplier Auckland Co-op Taxi who will drop off / pick up at the main entrance or infield. Ring 09 300 3000 to book
Ellerslie Racecourse is located close to public transport networks including the Greenlane Train Station which is a 600m walk away
Whilst cash-out facilities and eftpos are available, we recommend you bring cash
Children under 15 years get free general admission and discounted rates in those hospitality precincts that are not R18
Senior citizen rates apply to general admission tickets when purchased at the gate on the day
Free car-parking is available on a first-in, first-served basis - ALL cars must be removed from overnight-permitted parks by 10am 27.12.20
Promotional photographs, social media content & film footage will be taken at this event. By entering the racecourse, event-goers consent to use of their image by the Club & New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing for promotional purposes
