Need an insider tip? Keen to know how the track is shaping up?

Here's your preview to our upcoming raceday complete with Craig Baker's thoughts on the day's feature race, speed maps, track manager Jason Fulford's report and some tips from the office lads.

Track update

The track reading this morning (Friday 23 April) was just a Slow 8.

If the forecasted rain arrives tonight, then the track will likely be a Slow 9 tomorrow. If we miss the rain, it will be a Slow 7.

Feature race preview

Race 8 | 4:10pm | Group II $100,000 Manco Easter Handicap | 1600m

From an each-way perspective, the Nigel Tiley-trained Demonization is on top for me.

While Markus Aurelius has looked very good winning his last four, he is now at a point in the ratings where he only receives a 1kg from Demonization who, we know, will appreciate the Slow track on offer and looks a good each-way play. Remember, two starts back he was an excellent second in the Group II Rich Hill Mile.

The dangers include Markus Aurelius and Marroni.
