We spoke to jockeys competing in the Rich Hill Mile to get their comments on how the race went.
1st: Prise De Fer Mick Dee
Good effort. Nice win.
2nd: Yearn Troy Harris
Got stuck three wide but stuck on real well. Tough.
3rd: Za Za Gabor Taiki Yanagida
She did everything right. She ran really well.
4th: Pierina Danielle Johnson
She went really well. Wide draw was a worry but hit the line well and did us proud.
5th: Aim Smart Ryan Elliot
He was on the wrong leg from the half mile. If he got rolling early he would of finished closer.
6th: Hypnos Richard Oliver
Ran very well and hit the line strong.
7th: Braavos Kozzi Asano
He went really good. Big step up, just tied the last 50 metres.
8th: Contessa Vanessa Andrew Calder
She got a nice run in transit and she fought on well to the line. Probably wants a little bit of a shower.
9th: Secret Allure Rosie Myers
She's gone super. She makes it hard for herself getting that far back and when the pace is slow makes it hard being so far back.
10th: Watch This Space Leith Innes
Good honest effort. He's an eight-year-old now, lacks that sprint.
11th: The Real Deal Craig Grylls
Traveled quite good, got a nice run to top of the straight, all opened up, probably with the 57kgs against the lightweights didn't quicken as good as the rest.
12th: Aligns With Me Sam Weatherley
13: Demonetization Lynsey Satherley
Nice run just needs a shower of rain.
14th: Poker Face Trudy Thornton
Tried hard. Ground a bit quick.
15th: Donna Anne Billy Jasmine Fawcett
Just a bit keen in the early stages, probably suited to 1400 metres in the future.
16th: Livin ' On A Prayer Sam Collett
Wasn't good enough to overcome the bad draw.
Last: Hello It's Me Matt Cameron
A little disappointing. Just wants some cut of the ground she'll be right.
