Jockey Comments | Karaka Million 3YO Classic

Here are comments from the jockeys in the Karaka Million 3YO Classic

1st - Pin Me Up - Sam Weatherley

Such an amazing feeling. Super little filly and a great send off for Jamie (Richards) too.

2nd - Tutukaka - Leith Innes

Top effort. Great to see him back. Just needed to get out earlier.

3rd - Karman Line - Craig Grylls

Had a nice run throughout, was held up and got out late and finished strongly.

4th - Verona - Taiki Yanagida

Jumped well but no speed early but finished well. Nice horse over more ground.

5th - Achieve - Ryan Elliot

Beautiful run. Ended up following On The Bubbles and finished well. Going to be a nice horse after a few runs.

6th - Miss Ella - Michael McNab

Perfect trip and got good cover and dragged into the straight but disappointing finish.

7th - On The Bubbles - Opie Bosson

Terrible luck. Worked so hard and it told in the end.

8th - Seven Twenty - Darren Danis

She was a bit off stride at the start but she finished off strongly.

9th - The Stoney One - Jonathan Riddell

Maybe a mile too far at the moment.

10th - Riverplate - Vinnie Colgan

On speed but he stopped badly.

11th - Whiskey - Trudy Thornton

Tried hard but he's a horse that needs some moisture in the ground.

12th - Drum Major - Ashvin Goindasamy

Over raced too much.

13th - Reign It In - Shaun McKay

Big run. He's green so hard to drop him back but he really hit the line well.

14th - Sophisticardo - Johnathan Parkes

Grounded away alright and ran home good.

15th - Turn The Ace - Dylan Turner

Worked up early but just whacked away in the straight.

16th - Yes We Khan - Masa Hashizume

Fair run.

17th - Leading Man - Matthew Cameron

Outclassed but he fought on alright.

Last - The Landing - Kozzi Asano
