We spoke to jockeys competing in the Hynds 3YO Salver to get their comments on how the race went.
1st: Scorpz Jason Waddell
All the credit to the horse for that one. Far from pretty but was effective.
2nd: Tibetan Vinnie Colgan
Nice run. He just over-raced a little bit but he finished off strong.
3rd: Rendition Leith Innes
Good run. Followed the winner that might be a pretty smart horse.
4th: Lochwinnoch Trudy Thornton
Good run. He's still learning the ropes but it was a good effort.
5th: Bergamot Danielle Johnson
She went really well today. She's still a little bit weak. Time will be her best friend.
6th: Celestial Nymph Craig Grylls
She was a little tardy out of the gates. It was a awkward run race, she got shuffled back to last. She was interfered with and took me out of the race but she came home good.
7th: Peloton Sam Spratt
Had to do a bit of work early but got some easy sectionals but taken on a little early than I wanted to and just battled on after.
8th: Border Leicester Sam Weatherley
Slow away and had to do too much work. His racing pattern he races handy but he just couldn't do it the tough way.
9th: Plucky Miss Ryan Elliot
Didn't jump away that good. Just had her head turned to the side and our chances were gone after that.
10th: Qiji Dancer Cameron Lammas
Just needed the run. Mentally immature.
P/U: Mongolian Heaven Jonathan Riddell
Broke down before the corner.
