Her career form in racing fashion is blue-blooded with Eleanor Campbell having scored top fashions in the field wins from as far away as Dubai. Closer to home, this Waikato-based lass has won sashes around the country, including being named as a Grand Finalist in The Ned Prix de Fashion 2021 too.
We sat down for a chat with this immaculate dresser to learn a little more about her racewear career ahead of this year's competition where she'll be no doubt hoping to emulate the efforts of her sister, Claudia, who took out the national title in 2013.

How long have you been entering fashions in the field competitions?
I first entered a fashion competition and qualified for The Ned Prix de Fashion when I was 16 but was too young to enter... so it’s been a good ten years.
It’s a very addictive hobby!

What would you say to someone who would consider entering such a competition for the first time?
It’s great being able to dress up and wear an outfit you love. Whether you come away with a sash or not, it’s still an amazing thrill.
What do you enjoy most about fashions in the field competitions?
A day off work, dressing up and having fun with my family.

What do you do for a day job?
My mother and I have a doggy daycare and boarding kennels.
We are not very glamorous at the workplace at all, but love being able to dress up for the races.

Where you get your fashions in the field inspiration from?
I get a lot of my inspiration from Instagram and current trends.
Do you follow horse racing as well, or is fashions in the field where it’s at for you on raceday?
Yes! My family have shares in a few racehorses, which adds lots of excitement to the day when they are racing.
