We spoke to jockeys competing in the Barneswood Farm Soliloquy Stakes to get their comments on how the race went.
1st: Travelling Light Samantha Collett
Managed to pick herself off the deck and saved it to the last little bit . Really promising filly
2nd: Bavella Leith Innes
Top run. Thought I was home but beaten by a better horse.
3rd: Jennifer Eccles Donavan Mansour
Really happy with her run. Not easy the way she has to do it. On track for the NZ 1000 Guineas
4th: Flaunting Sam Spratt
Very pleased with the run. Had a shocking draw and was stuck wide the whole way and she fought on well. Good to see she proved she's up to a smart field.
5th: Annie's Song Michael McNab
Run was really good. Drew wide and done a power of work in the running but stuck to her task really good.
6th: Hasstobegood Vinnie Colgan
Lovely run but disappointed with the finish.
7th: Familia Shaun McKay
She's gone really well.
8th: Diamonds Galore Jonathan Riddell
Didn't get much of a chance. Was a big run.
9th: London Bound Lynsey Satherley
Looking for a bit more ground. Wasn't that bad of a run as it looked.
10th: Aalaalune Trudy Thornton
Nice filly. She just needs to go over 2100 metres. The further she goes, the better she'll be.
11th: Aretha Matt Cameron
Jumped and settled nicely for a change but was disappointing. Hopefully we can find whats wrong.
12th: Loire Michael Coleman
A little disappointing.
13th: Sorrentina Craig Grylls
Didn't get away good so went back to last but never had the horse underneath me. Really disappointing.
Last: First Rock Andrew Calder
We tried her at 1400 metres today and she found it too far and she just compounded after going keen in front.
