New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Million: Westbury Classic Jockey Comments

We spoke to jockeys competing in the Westbury Classic on New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Million Raceday to get their comments on how the race went.

1st Volpe Veloce Michael Coleman

She was just too good today. Top effort.

2nd Sleeping Beauty James McDonald

Thought we pinched the race but was run down. Good race.

3rd Yearn Sam Spratt

Went a super run. She got a little check on the corner but flattened out and went a huge run.

4th Le Castile Vinnie Colgan

Nice run for fourth.

5th Calligraphy Jake Bayliss

Huge run. Never traveled from the gates. Took forever to get warm and then hit the line well. Good run to run fifth.

6th Monrecour Cameron Lammas

Very good run. She was in a line up to run so it was a good run.

7th Bisou Bisou Opie Bosson

Got a little tight for room 100m out. Was a little unlucky.

8th Indecision Jason Waddell

She's come the end of her campaign.

9th Bella Court Samantha Collett

Flat most of the way.

10th Lucyinrio Michael McNab

Feeling the track.

11th Save The Date Leith Innes

Disappointing run.

Last Livin' On A Prayer Johnathan Parkes

Just battled away. Didn't back up today.
