New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Million: CollinsonForex Karaka Cup Jockey Comments

We spoke to jockeys competing in the CollinsonForex Karaka Cup on New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Million Raceday to get their comments on how the race went.

1st Five To Midnight Johnathan Parkes

Fantastic win under the weight. He's come up super this season and the Auckland Cup in a month under set weight and penalties will be a great ride.

2nd Mongolian Marshal James McDonald

He had his chance. He's a miler with blinkers on.

3rd Sacred Day Michael McNab

He ran good. If he draw a barrier, he'd probably won.

4th The Good Fight Michael Coleman

A nice run. Kept finding the line nicely.

5th Gundown Matthew Cameron

A nice run. He probably appreciates the sting out of the ground.

6th August Edition Tommy Berry

Very nice run. I probably made my run a little too far out. A really good effort.

7th Bully Boy Kate Cowan

Got in a position on the fence where I couldn't get out and rolling when we needed to.

8th Redcayenne Donavan Mansour

A flat run. Last week at Wellington may have taken it out of him

9th Sasanof's Hero Samantha Collett

Ended up rolling forward on a slow speed early is against his racing pattern. He boxed on well for a while then weakened.
