We spoke to jockeys competing in the Group 3 Partners Life Soliloquy Stakes on Partners Life Raceday for Cure Kids to get their comments on how the race went.
1st Media Sensation Michael Coleman
She travelled lovely throughout. She hit a flat spo a little around the corner but she was very strong in the finish.
2nd Rocket Fuel Andrew Calder
It was a very nice run. Stepping up to 1600 meters next start looks ideally suited.
3rd Annie Okay Shaun McKay
It was a huge run. This is only her second start and she is still learning. She was very brave to the line and was still coming at the 100m. She still has a lot of improvement in her and she will be better at a mile.
4th Valalie Leith Innes
It was a nice effort. She never really traveled for me but she still hit the line strong.
5th London Express Vinnie Colgan
We just got held up turning for home. She still hit the line strongly.
6th Elate Ryan Elliot (a)
It was a good run. She just got a little lost near the 200m but she found again to the line.
7th Power of Strength Donavan Mansour
She is just still too immature. She will be much better in 6 to 12 months time.
8th Patsys Lass Reese Jones
We were disadvantaged by the draw especially with the rail out so we went back to save some petrol for the run home. She found the line very nicely. With a better draw I think the result could have been a bit different.
9th Ambitious Showgirl Trudy Thornton
It was a nice enough run. We didn't have much luck from the draw but she will make the grade.
10th Magic Condor Sam Spratt
She just jumped up a little as the gates opened. When the gaps opened as we straightened I thought she would have hit the line a bit better but she just whacked away fairly.
11th Nulli Secundus Rowena Smyth
She just never fired today. She has had quite a big campaign and she might be feeling the effects of that.
Last Queen of the Air Darren Danis (a)
She just wobbled a little around the corner. I think 1200m might be more suited.
