1st Contessa Vanessa Chris Johnson

We got into a good spot and she travelled nicely. She was too tough in the finish.

2nd Gold Spice Michael Coleman

It was a top run she hit the line strongly.

3rd Marcellina Mathew Cameron

It was a huge run for a maiden to get back to last and run on to finish third like she has. She is spot on for the Oaks.

4th Kapoor Alysha Collett

It was a really good run. Going forward to the Oaks I am confident she will get the trip after todays run.

5th Blanco Belle Rosie Myers

It was a super run. She is pretty quirky especially first time right handed. She got a little lost in front but her run was great.

6th Sunburst Michael McNab

She ran really well. She never touched the bridle which is a good sign for a staying filly. She showed a lot of heart to stick on how she did.

7th Fiscal Fantasy Trudy Thornton

She tried hard but I think she is off to the paddock now.

8th Terra Sancta Samantha Collett

She got back. We just lacked the early speed. Her last 100m was her best and the 2400m of the Oaks should suit her.

9th Insight Danielle Johnson

She traveled beautifully throughout. Coming to the corner she got a bump and overreacted quite badly and lost a couple of lengths doing that. Not sure what they do with her now but she will be a nice horse in time.

10th Gris Dame Jonathan Parkes

She travelled up okay. When the pressure came on she didn't give me much.

Last Excelsior Island Jake Bayliss

She is a nice filly but probably just not as good as we thought. She may have gone a miss because her action went off late. She also bucked early.
