We spoke to jockeys competing in the Westbury Classic on New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Million Raceday to get their comments on how the race went.
1st Thee Auld Floozie Hugh Bowman
It was a top win.
2nd Lizzie L'Amour Mathew Cameron
It was huge run. 2000m next week will be ideal. She hit the line great.
3rd Coldplay Jonathan Parkes
Another top run. Some more ground and she wins.
4th Montoya Star Michael McNab
She ran huge. She is only little. We just needed a better tow into the race.
5th Livin' On A Prayer Cameron Lammas
She is probably a year off this company but it was a top run.
6th Caprikosa Mark Du Plessis
It was a great run, there is black type in her somewhere.
7th Odisha Alysha Collett
It was a great run.
8th Princess Kereru Michael Coleman
She battled away fairly.
9th Somethingvain Sam Spratt
We drew wide and chose to go forward. We had to work but she fought on nicely.
10th Sweepstake Chris Johnson
Led up easily, corned nicely but wilted the last 100m.
11th Ja Ja Binks Leith Innes
She was disappointing. The 1200m might be better for her.
12th Ruby Armani Jake Bayliss
Hard to be competitive in this grade, back in grade she will be hard to beat.
13th Bella Court Samantha Collett
The wide draw meant we had a bad run. She hit the line nice though.
14th Lovers Lane Danielle Johnson
She was average today.
15th Our Abbadean Opie Bosson
We just got back and stayed there.
Last Heni Rosie Myers
Our run closed on us at the 200m , she was just knocked out of it.
