Partners Life Raceday for Cure Kids: Partners Life Soliloquy Stakes jockey comments

We spoke to jockeys competing in the Partners Life Soliloquy Stakes at Partners Life Raceday for Cure Kids to get their comments on how the race went.

1st Dijon Bleu Leith Innes

We got knocked over at the start and she over-raced for the first 400m but she put them away pretty quick when she got the gaps. She is an exciting filly.

2nd Kapoor Doni Prastiyou

She went a good race. She was probably a touch green up the straight. 1600m will be ideal.

3rd Campari Samantha Collett

It was a super run from a maiden, especially first time right handed. We ended up having a nice run n the trail, unfortunately it just took a little too long to clear traffic and she felt like she was batting at the 200m but she picked herself up and found the line well.

4th Contessa Vanessa Ryan Elliot (a)

We had a nice trip. When we came out around the corner we got knocked over but she really hit the line strong.

5th Hello It's Me Cameron Lammas

It was a very good run. She was just mucking around in the gates and when she jumped her back end slipped out from under her. We followed the winner into the race but she is probably looking for 1600m now.

6th Caesour's Dream Mark Du Plessis

She just pulled too hard and the track was just too wet for her today.

7th Princess Rihanna Michael Coleman

We got a bit of a rough run from the 600m to the corner and she never really finished it off after that.

8th Style By Design Alysha Collett

I think she will be much better on a firmer track over 1600m.

9th Belle Du Nord Zac Spain (a)

She traveled up nicely and I thought she would show more of a kick. They'll get her home and have a look at her and see if they can find anything.

10th Showtenaire Trudy Thornton

She pulled up sore in behind.

Last Charli Rose Michael McNab

As soon as we went up the rise she was in trouble. She was never travelling.
