Shake your shamrock; the Irish Raceday Party is back!
Each year, Ellerslie Racecourse explodes in a sea of green when Auckland’s Irish contingent (and their friends) descend upon the course for their annual raceday knees-up.
Apparently there are only two kinds of people in the world, the Irish and those who wish they were, so we’re again channeling our inner leprechauns for the return of our immensely popular & colourful Irish festivities.
General admission is free and free parking is available.
11.00 am - Gates open & the Irish party starts (Newmarket Room)
12.18 pm - First race of eight
4.33 pm - Last race
THEN join our Irish Band until the official after-party at Doolan Brothers Newmarket
