Welcome To
Over 100 years of racing
Pukekohe Park

Experience the thrill of thoroughbred racing, from the surrounds of one of Auckland's most desirable country towns.

Pukekohe Park is located in the picturesque surrounds of Pukekohe, 40 minutes south of Auckland City.

Pukekohe Park is one of two racetracks governed by Auckland Thoroughbred Racing and is the primary home of racing for the Club until Ellerslie reopens in early 2024.

With the racecourse set to play host to marquee racedays such as Melbourne Cup Day, Counties Cup Day, the Boxing Day Races and, for the first time, the New Year’s Day Races in the 2023/24 season, Pukekohe Park events are once again on the ‘must attend’ list.

An ideal day out for families, friends or an easy option for corporate hosting, racedays at Pukekohe Park really do offer something for all walks of life. With general admission free oncourse for the entirety of the 2023/24 season, we encourage you to join us and check it out for yourself.

Pukekohe Park is also an industry-leading thoroughbred training centre and the stabling area caters for over 190 horses with tie-ups, weighing scales and a sand roll available for use.
