Auckland Cup Week
29 February and 7 March 2020
Welcome to Auckland Cup Week 2020 – Two magical days, one magnificent event.
Celebrate the art of tradition
The sound of a crowd’s roar and scents of perfume fill the air. World-class horses, their muscular coats gleaming in the warm Auckland sun, thunder past an expectant audience whose dreams are riding on an outcome just milliseconds away.
Between times some gather to watch the colour & pageantry of the day’s fashion, where a headpiece & outfit could be the difference between prize or participation. Meanwhile out on expansive green lawns and inside decadent marquees & rooms, groups mingle & enjoy the company of others, snapping photos to ensure the memories last forever.
Throughout, flutes of an elegant French champagne are clinked, fine beverages are consumed and mouth-watering fare is savoured. And then, when the official proceedings are over, everyone gets together & kicks up their heels at the on-site after-party in celebration.
